A good candidate for hair transplant surgery would be one who is suffering hair loss due to male patching baldness. Some one who has lost hair and has just a ribbon like or band like hair at the back of his head. What can be done is to have dense patch up done so it looks natural and not bald. It’s not possible for the candidate to expect the looks of a teenager with full headed hair. The results of transplantation will vary however from candidate to candidate. The most important fact is to consider if the candidate is a good one for transplantation who can achieve reasonable results as he expects.

Hi guys,
I’m thinking about getting a hair transplant since the hair is significantly thinning on the top of my head but I have been reading SO many nightmares about it that either: 1) the hair plugs were bad that it looked like prickly acne on the scalp and/or 2) the scar on the back of the head is so bad it looks like butcher work
Take a look at this website: http://mysite.verizon.net/dschrode/newtransplant-tales.htm
These horror stories show that. I’ve heard that Bosley is REALLY BAD too! All you have to do is search “Bosley nightmares” on a search engine and you have numerous stories!
One website claims to look for the following: http://www.americanhairloss.org/surgical_hair_restoration/finding_a_surgeon.asp
Did any of you guys have hair transplants? What were you experiences in finding a great hair transplant surgeon? Do you have any scars from the hair transplants? If any of you are from the Detroit area, do you know which hair transplant surgeons are REALLY good?
Sorry guys, its just SOOO exhausting trying to find a dependable, and decent doctor…
Thanks for all of the help!
